* Assists and replaces the WRO IT administrator in management, supervision, monitoring and maintenance of WRO LAN and internet access, especially virus protection, backup, restore and troubleshooting of hardware and LAN infrastructure.
* Systems and database administration of polio related application which includes optimum running and operation pf POLIO surveillance database and other administrative/ finance applications through direct supervision of hardware setup, software configuration, security policies, backup, restore and troubleshooting.
* Assist in analyzing POLIO data in collaboration with medical officers to generate reports on the distribution of cases according to statistical reporting required. 
* Provide hardware and software support to polio staff for better utilization of IT resources, including ensuring high quality of services, preventive maintenance, pool of spare parts and consumables. 
* Maintain inventory of hardware resources available for POLIO project at the national level. 
* Collaborates with RO to provide training on Disease surveillance software (EPI-INFO) or other standard application for the purpose at the national and provincial levels.
* Setup a network of POLIO reporting centers at the national level to ensure timely reporting from the provinces on case notification and aggregation of the national database using the appropriate technology.
* Liaise with RO for regular reporting of POLIO cases to update the Regional POLIO Database. 
* Collaborate with IT administrator to compile and update POLIO data for publishing in Pakistan WHO Representative website
* Assist in the implementation, integration and on-going administration of IT infrastructure facilities hosting WHO applications in line with WHO ICT Standards
* Assist to advise WHO Representative Offices polio program staff and non-staff on their ICT needs, technical specifications for IT systems to be procured or implemented, in line with regional office ICT Standards

*Responsible updating/documenting all task through JIRA ticketing, Confluence system

*Maintains a broad knowledge of technology, equipment, and/or systems.

*Serves as a contact for all technology-related communication within the office.

The scope of this role involves responsibility of Online Trading Server all over the Pakistan through internet the daily running IT and management of the IT related issues. This includes the entire IT infrastructure (including Servers, Routers, Switches, PC & laptops, network Storage & other devices, also standard software)

* Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, AD-DS, ISA/Kerio Firewall, Sharepoint, IP, NAS, Hyper-V and WmWare.
* Application, SMS, Database Server and KSE Gateways Runing and Troubleshoot.
* Ensure the roll out, on a scheduled basis, all relevant and necessary security, firewall and anti-virus updates to all over office Pcs.
* Ensure all critical data on all devices is securely backed up, both on- and off-site
* Ensure the setup & configuring, to a standard specification, all current and new equipment
* Disseminate, where appropriate, support & how-to documents to new & existing users.
* Ensure that data is stored in an appropriate location, and has restrictions such that access to it by anyone (read/write/delete) is correct
* Be aware of the different methods of internet connection, and so be able to advise on which is appropriate
* Be technically able to manage internet restrictions on PCs and networks.
* Placement and weekly backup Security Monitoring CCTv camera and Voice recording system.
* Ensure the management of passwords & security on all networks & devices
* Maintain IT-related reference documents for all devices and their configurations/passwords
* Maintain documentation on IT processes & procedures
* Ensure the good storage of all IT related equipment
* Advise on technical specifications for IT procurement
* Deal with vendors of UPS (Uninterrupted power supply) to provide better backup.
* Support in the planning and ordering of all IT related equipment.
